Deborah B. S. Shell, MA, LCMHC
Deb’s private practice office is located in St. Albans, Vermont. She works primarily on attachment and developmental trauma issues with families and children, individuals and couples, using Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy as the treatment model.
She is currently an adjunct professor teaching in the graduate counseling program at Johnson State College. She is co-editor of Creating Capacity for Attachment (2005, 2008) and Attachment Parenting; Developing Connections and Healing Children (2010). Although raising her children has been the most salient and informative life-experience of all, her formal training spans three decades including interests in expressive art (clay), breastfeeding, homeschooling, gardening and sustainable living.
She lives in a comfortable hand-made house on twenty-five acres with her very empathic and patient husband, playful dogs and curious chickens.
