Mindi Higgins Kessler, Ph.D., LCFMT

Mindi Higgins Kessler, Ph.D., LCFMT, is the Founder and Director of the Center for Attachment & Relationship Enrichment (C.A.R.E. Counseling) in Topeka, Kansas. 

Mindi has a master’s degree from Colorado State University in Child Development & Family Studies, and a Ph.D. from Kansas State University in Marriage and Family Therapy.  Mindi has worked in the field of social services for 12 years, including 5 years in community mental health. 

In addition to providing therapy for children, adults, and families, Mindi has also presented workshops to parents and professionals in many settings. For her work with traumatized children and their families, she received KAMFT’s 2009 Award for Service to Kansas Families.
