Lisa Inoue, LMSW

 

Lisa Inoue, LMSW is a licensed clinical social worker who holds a master’s degree from New York University.  She began her career in the field of medical social work, working with patients and families facing chronic disease and end of life issues.  Soon after, Lisa brought her expertise in trauma, grief and transition to the field of mental health, working with families involved with the homeless and child welfare systems.  Lisa currently maintains a practice in Ann Arbor, Michigan specializing in the treatment of adults and children with issues related to interpersonal trauma and disrupted attachment.   Lisa also co-leads mindful parenting groups which integrate attachment theory and the ideals of PACE with core mindfulness skills.  In all, Lisa has over 14 years experience working with children and families.

In addition to utilizing Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Lisa is a certified EMDR therapist and integrates mindfulness practices throughout her work with children and adults.

Lisa is a member of the Attachment Coalition, which is a registered organization of ATTACh.
