Certified DDPI Therapists

This is a summary of the requirements to become certified as a Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy Therapists. 

• Introductory course in DDP provided by a certified DDP trainer
• Intermediate course in DDP provided by a certified DDP trainer.
• Consultation hours provided by a certified DDP consultant.
• And completion of a DDP practicum, which includes consultation by a DDPI certified consultant.
• Application (including two videotape/DVD’s of two sessions) and fees.
• Ten videotapes for review by DDPI consultants during the practicum.
  
• Grand parenting certification

One of the benefits of becoming a Certified Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy therapist is the opportunity to participate in the Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy Institute listserv. Only certified therapists and members in good standing of the DDPI can participate. It is an opportunity for experienced therapists to discuss ideas, challenges, and thoughts. It is a place to ask questions and receive helpful comments, thoughts, and suggestions. The listserv is a place to share your successes and challenges and invite responses from peers. The Board of Directors of the Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy Institute invite you to participate.
